Abilities

Passive

Allies within Affinity range gain up to 50% resistance to the types of damage they are currently taking.

1Razor Gyre

Dash forward in a spinning vortex of death. Struck enemies are inflicted with Tau Status Effect, making them more vulnerable to all other status effects. For each enemy hit, recover a portion of the energy cost, as well as health and shields. Enemies lifted by Sentient Wrath take increased damage.

2Sentient Wrath

Smash the ground sending out a radial wave of destruction. Those not killed by the initial blast are helplessly raised into the air, where they take amplified damage for a short time.

3Lethal Progeny

Cycle through Sentient unit types, then summon them to Caliban's side. Conculysts focus on raw melee damage. Ortholysts specialize in ranged attacks and inflict Tau Status Effect. Summulysts summon their own Choralysts and provide shield protection for the squad.

4Fusion Strike

Converge three streams of raw energy upon a single point, causing a massive explosion. The streams strip armor and shields, and each enemy struck detonates on stream convergence. Summoned Conculysts can wield their own mini Fusion Strikes.

Lines from the official update notes that mention this entry.

    • AddedImage Description: Six Prime Warframes are poised for combat on the desolate battlefield of The Perita Rebellion. In the foreground is Ash Prime, Ember Prime, and Caliban Prime, while in the background is Mesa Prime, Protea Prime, and Volt Prime.
    • AddedCaliban Prime
    • AddedCaliban Prime and Protea Prime were both recently available via Prime Access and have not yet been vaulted. To maintain the order of operations with Prime Resurgence and respect those who had purchased these packs through Prime Access, they are excluded from the Regal Aya packs.
    • FixedWarframes appeared on both sides of the battlefield. Take on Ash Prime, Protea Prime, Mesa Prime, Caliban Prime, Volt Prime and Ember Prime all at once!
    • FixedMeaning that everything the team has been working on since the launch of Update 39.1: Caliban Prime is in this update (with the obvious exception of content that is not ready to be released). It is very likely, as it is with all Mainline updates, that things slip through the cracks so we will be watching for bug reports and feedback in the dedicated The Vallis Undermind subforums to address in follow-up Hotfixes.
    • FixedThis was an unintended fallout from a change with Caliban Prime’s release! We’ve adjusted the tint channels, but players may find certain colors appear much brighter than before and may need to adjust their fashion accordingly.
    • FixedFixed a script error related to Caliban’s Lethal Progeny.
    • ChangedUpdated the materials and tint order on Caliban Prime, Venato Prime, Vadarya Prime, and the Neurovyre Prime Syandana.
    • ChangedWe very rarely make significant changes to appearances post-release, but felt that Caliban Prime’s materials and tint order meant he did not work optimally with other Caliban cosmetics. Mixing and matching pieces is an important part of Fashion Frame, so we changed Caliban Prime as follows:
    • ChangedVenato Prime, Vadarya Prime, and the Neurovyre Prime Syandana have received the same changes so they match Caliban Prime.
    • FixedFixed some Syandanas clipping through Caliban Prime's exhaust cannisters.
    • ChangedImproved firing and pathing behaviour of the Ortholysts spawned by Caliban's Lethal Progeny.
    • FixedForged in celebration of the all-too-brief peace between the Orokin and Sentients, Caliban Prime is a true collaborative masterpiece. The heir of twin kingdoms arises in royal gold.
    • FixedCaliban Prime’s Lethal Progeny Conculyst, Ortholyst, and Summulyst summons are also adorned in gold!
    • FixedCaliban Prime's signature sniper rifle is no mere ceremonial weapon. A sign, perhaps, that peace between Orokin and Sentient was destined to be fleeting. Struck enemies become lightning rods, with a chance to attract bolts of chain lightning that can jump to nearby enemies.
    • FixedPainstakingly embellished with scavenged gold as a treaty gift for the Orokin, this Sentient spinal symbiote serves as Caliban Prime’s signature syandana.
    • FixedNow that Caliban Prime Access is available, the following items have been added to the Prime Vault for a future Prime Resurgence rotation. If you have Relics that contain these items they will remain in your Inventory.
    • FixedFixed the VFX Caliban's Fusion Strike not matching the modded Ability Duration.
    • FixedFixed performance issues caused by Caliban’s Razor Gyre.
    • FixedFixed Caliban's Lethal Progeny not always following Caliban if Razor Gyre is spammed with the Razor Mortar Augment equipped.
    • ChangedRazor Gyre Augment: Enemies hit with Razor Gyre are grouped together. Ortholysts summoned by Lethal Progeny launch coordinated strikes upon grouped enemies with 70% Electricity Damage and Fire Rate for 6 seconds.
    • ChangedKill and damage done by Caliban’s Lethal Progeny Summons will now contribute towards the End of Mission stats.
    • FixedFixed Razor Gyre tip incorrectly stating it would refund Energy up to 100%, as it is not capped.
